click on start and provide logon details next double click on SAP logon icon,

Basically there are two types of

MASTER DATA

is the data which is not going to change frequently and maintain uniqueness( no
duplicates).
It
represents all real life entities such as customers, vendors, materials etc (primary
key)
TRANSACTION DATA:-
It is the data which is going to
change very frequently (duplication), maintains foreign key (ref to master
